They arcthe accumulated ideas of the best men of the past and presentwhich have been gathered together and systemized by V. Black. He has added to them the results of his own ex-tensive experiments and experiences, and has given them to usfor our use. We should all unite to do honor to this great man,who, I believe, has done more for the dental profession thanany man who has ever lived. I wish also at this time to givecredit to G. V. Black, C. N.
