As night draws her somber robe oer thelandscape, thankful humanity withdraw to their bed-sides and, as become the recipients of His mercy andblessings, bend the knee in honor of the Creator of allthis mighty universe, and in supplication before Himwhom we ask, in repentance, to guard us through thenight.
