One Vacu-Trap is placed on return end ofeach radiator or coil. The Vacu-Trap allows airto be drawn out of radiators, supply piping andboiler, but when steam reaches it, its thermalmember expands, closing Vacu-Trap instantly. When steam condenses in radiatorsor coils, condensation at 190 to 198 degrees, willcontract the thermal member. All condensation is removed as fast as itaccumulates, so radiators or coils are always heatedup to steam temperature. The Vacu-Trap insuresthorough draining and quick air liberation at alltimes.
