The Reich Citizenship Law, along with Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honour. became commonly known as the Nuremberg Laws. The "Nuremberg Laws" established a legal basis for racial identification. The Reich Citizenship law defined who was and was not a Jew and hence who could become a citizen and work in the country.
