A protester is held by riot police after being captured during a police police orders, thousands of anti-government protesters marched through streets. Clashes with police resulted in dozens of tear gas rounds and projectiles being fired, eventually leading to multiple arrests. Despite continued pressure by protesters, the Hong Kong government has yet to cave to the protesters demand of fully withdrawing the extradition bill.
