Went to Dallas, Texas, in 1894, entering the service ofthe Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway Co. He was claimagent of the M., K. and T. Railroad; lived 324 North EwingAvenue, Dallas, Texas; d. Sept. 22, 1911. Interred in the fam-ily burial ground at Dallas Centre, Iowa. [The history of the Givin family is found in OHarts IrishPedigrees, Irish National Library, Trinity College, Dublin.
