The farm upon which Mr. Morrison resides, which isfinely located upon the Merrimack river, was purchasedby him, in company with an uncle, Joseph Wilson ofLowell, in 1870, the price being $10,500. It included250 acres of land, easy of cultivation, and natural cornland. He has raised over 1,600 bushels of corn in asingle season. In the order of Patrons of Husbandry Mr. Morrisonhas taken strong interest, and has been active in promot-ing its growth and prosperity. He has been three yearsmaster of Ezekiel Webster Grange, of Boscavven, andtwo years master of Merrimack County PomonaGrange. He was also for six years a district deputyfor the State Grange. He has been actively interestedfrom the start in the New Hampshire Grange FairAssociation, of which he has been vice-president andalso for several years a member of its executive com-mittee, and chairman of the same, and superintendentof the horse department at the annual exhibitions ofthe association, and has now been two years president. In religion, Mr. Morrison is of the Baptist faith, andin politics he has been active as a Republican, havingbeen for six years president of the town club. He hasser
