Gibraltar - 24th January 2015 - Pictured radio presenter Michelle Ruggeroni from Radio Gibraltar provided an entertaining alternative talk surrounding the life around a street bench. Her session was the first to be cut shot by the "dreaded hooter", with the public calling for her to be allowed to end her talk. The anecdotal talk saw people laughing as she described events around a street bench which formed daily life in Gibraltar. The first session of Gibtalks, a new live debate event organised by Julian Felices and the Ministry of Culture in Gibraltar, took place today at the John Macintosh Hall in Gibraltar. Among the speakers were the editor of the Gibraltar Chronicle, Dominique Searle, the leader of the Opposition Daniel Feetham, former Minister Peter Montegriffo and Government Minister John Cortes. The event is based on the popular "TED" talks structure.
