St Giles Terrace St Marys Dundee House Fire
Drama as a Fire ripped through a semi detached house in st giles ter in the st marys area of Dundee yesterday evening at around 7 pm firefighters from macalpine and blackness road fire stations raced to the scene to find the ground floor well alight its thought an electrical shower unit started the blaze. Firefighters spent almost two hours tackling the fire which has now rendered the house uninhabitable and a family homeless. The female occupant of the property was taking to Ninewells hospital suffering smoke inhalation Four Fire Appliance's including a command support unit attended alongside a fire service station manager two ambulances and two police vehicles.
