Moon; Tsuki; Flowers, birds, wind and moon; Kachôfûgetsu. An old man with a range in his right hand, is at the bottom of a long staircase. At the top of the stairs is a lady for a pavilion. The man is the Chinese emperor Gensô (Hsüang Tsung, 685-762) and the woman's favorite birthday Yôkihi (Yang Kuei-Fei, 719-56). Here their encounter in the hereafter is depicted; Yôkihi was executed after she and her family got too much power. Measure three poems.
