Iceberg Geyser. A 1,000-lb. bomb exploding inside the open claws of an iceberg shoots a water geyser into the air producing an orchid flower effect. The bomb, a general purpose conventional type, was dropped from a Coast Guard UF-2G plane conducting aerial iceberg destruction tests off Newfoundland between May 23 and 30, of the 1960 International Ice Patrol.
