Manitou, the Saratoga of the West and center of the Switzerland ofAmerica, is close under the shadow of Pikes Peak and almost surroundedby lofty mountains. It is five miles west of Colorado Springs and easilyreached by both steam and electric lines. Its fountains of health havebubbled and blessed mankind for centuries.
