SHOALWATER BAY (July 15, 2017) The amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) steams through the water as part of a large-scale amphibious assault during Talisman Saber 17. The landing craft and aircraft launched from Bonhomme Richard enabled movement of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) forces and equipment ashore in order for the MEU to complete mission objectives in tandem with Australia counterparts.
