Fifty-six candidates stand in formation at the Afghan Local Police Academy at the Regional Training Facility preparing for a graduation ceremony Baghlan-E Jadid district, Baghlan province, Afghanistan Dec. 22. The graduates recently completed a three-week course which covered basic marksmanship, patrolling, IED recognition and security techniques. The ALP program allows Afghans to provide security for their home villages and districts.
