Halteres yellow. Female. Similar; the lower supraantennals generally relatively a little smaller; costa relatively longer, to 0,60 of the wing-length, but also here somewhat varying. Length. Fully 1 to 1,5 mm. I have determined this species as longicostalis Wood, and I think the determination correct; Wood has only one striking character, the long costa, which he gives to about ^U of the wing-length, but he knew only the female, which as seen above has the longest costa; for the rest my description will be seen to agree well with Wood. 25*
