In Iran, in the Zagros Mountains, situated to the west of Isfahan, from May to September, the Bakhtiari shepherds bivouac on their mountain pastures for the summering of their cattles, in the province of Chahar Mahal, near the village of Niakan. Initially nomadic, this tribe is getting more and more sedentary.
