Very closely allied to the preceding species, and the differ-ences apparently only a matter of coloration; these differencesconsist of the first, second, and third joints of the antennaebeing black, and the femora (excluding apices) being alsoblack. In the absence of structural differentiation, at least so faras I have observed, I take this form to be simply a strongly 300 APPEX DTX. —:. coloured variety of the previous species described by Poppius asA. annulipes, and include it here as a distinct species with verygreat doubt. I have figured it to prevent future Fig. 167.—Anthocoris indicus. Length 4 millim. Hab. Darjihng (Vienna Mas.). Poppius gives the length as 3-6 millim., but in the type nowbefore me the membrane is curled up at its apex, and this hasevidently misled him.
