Women performing the Yumomito Odorii water cooling dance to cool down naturally occurring hot spring waters so that it will become a temperature suitable for bathing in in the Netsu No Yu in Kusatsu town Japan Thursday 29th January 2009. Kusatsu is famous for it s natural occurring hot spring waters with 5 000 litres of water gushing out of the Yubatake spring every minute. The hot water is piped through the town to service the many hot water baths available in free of charge public bathhouses and in the many ryokan onsen hotels that cater for the 3million tourists that visit the town each year to bathe in the waters famous for their therapeutic health benefits.
