Photograph of a demonstration staged by the Spartakus Bund-Liebknechts and Rosa Luxembourgs followers, now known as the "German Communist Party" during World War One. The parade took place in the Siegesallee, Tiergarten, and marched through the Brandenburger Tor and "Unter der Linden". Demonstrators carried banners with various inscriptions criticizing the government and calling for revolution. Leaders, including Liebknecht, addressed the crowd and urged them to overthrow the present government. The demonstration took place in Berlin, Germany.
