Irish President Mary McAleese leaves after the opening of a £ million refurbishment to Northern Ireland's longest established Irish language centre in west Belfast, Monday, Sept 19, 2011. Next Month will see the start of the Irish Presidential race for a new President. Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness who was a member of the IRA and Dana Rosemary Scallon has announced both their intention to seek a nomination for the Presidential election.
