A dolphin dives vertically towards the waters of the Dolphin Lake at Port Elizabeth's Bayworld Museum, South Africa


The Bayworld Museum Complex, along the beachfront Marine Drive, is one of Port Elizabeth's major tourist attractions. Its dolphinarium is considered one of the biggest and best in the world, with shows daily at and Its two main inhabitants are Dumisa and Domino, and here we see one of them returning to the water, after a spectacular leap to touch a red ball overhanging the enclosure. The Museum has been carrying out research into bottlenose dolphins since the 1950s, so contributing to the understanding of these intelligent creatures.
