Lex Walker, commodore, Destroyer Squadron SEVEN takes photos with students at the Mallika Nawodya School near Galle, Sri Lanka, Jun 14 during a community engagement event in support of humanitarian assistance operations in the wake of severe flooding and landslides that devastated many regions of the country. Recent heavy rainfalls brought by a southwestern monsoon triggered flooding and landslides throughout the country, displacing thousands of people and causing significant damage to homes and buildings.
