Henry Hogg Biddle House, Tottenville, Staten island, New York


The Henry Hogg Biddle House was constructed between 1845 in 1853 in Totenville, Staten Island. It is in the Greek Revival style with a spring eave feature found on a number of Greek Revival houses on Staten Island. The house was built by sea captain Henry Hogg Biddle (1806–87) who operated a ferry between Perth Amboy and Tottenville. The house is an official New York City landmark.
