Linden, Silver-leaved—A handsome, vigorous growing tree with large leaves, whitish on under- side, which produce a beautiful appearance when stirred by the wind. One of the best. Magnolia, Acuminata—(Cucumber Tree)—A beautiful native tree with rich large leaves and fragrant flowers. Magnolia Soulangeana—Flowers white and purple. One of the finest and handsomest. Magnolia Speciosa—Flowers a little smaller, lighter and fully a week later than Soulangeana. Maple, Wier's Cut-leaved—A silver Maple with remarkable and beautiful dissected foliagre. A rapid grower; shoots, slender and drooping, giving it a very graceful appearance. Maple, Norway—A distinct, foreign variety with large, broad leaves of a deep, rich green color. The most desirable for street, park or lawn. Maple, Schwedlerii—A purple-leaved variety of the Norway Maple. The young shoots and leaves are of a very bright crimson color, changing to a purplish green in the older leaves. Very valuable. Mountain Ash, European—A fine hardy tree; head dense and regular.
