KINGS BAY, Georgia (Sept. 11, 2018) Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay fire and emergency services personnel participate in a 9/11 memorial 5K run through base housing. The event also had participants from Kingsland Fire Department, St. Marys Fire Department and family members. The base is home to six of the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarines that make up the most survivable leg of the nuclear missile triad.
