Tuwaitha Nuclear Plant, Iraq. This plant, located 18 kilometres south of Baghdad, was the headquarters of the Iraqi Nuclear Commission and the main site of the Iraqi nuclear program. The site housed several research reactors and plutonium separation, uranium enrichment and waste disposal facilities. Taken by the Ikonos satellite on 7 October 2001.
