A police car crashed on Kirkstone Pass in the Lake District when they lost control of a borrowed vehicle.
A four wheel drive car that had been borrowed by Cumbria Police, lying in the moor off Kirkstone Pass, after the police drove it up the mountain pass to check conditions and lost control. The vehicle skidded off the road, through a fence, dropped over a wall and landed in the moor.
