Men selling tourist jewellery and textile souvenirs from a small boat tied to a cruise ship on the River Nile

Vendors in small boats pull alongside the River Nile cruise ships to sell jewellery and textiles. Having got the interest of a passenger, they throw an article up for the passenger to catch. Negotiation is accomplished by shouting, or gesticulating, between vendor and passenger. Either the item r money in a bag is thrown down to the seller, depending on whether a sale is made. The sellers are very tenacious and seem to make a living. They will tie to the ship overnight and somehow get back upstream to start again.
