Taking oceans and lands together, it appears that in the small number of cases included in group A, where the temperature falls most greatly below what would be ex- pected, the average cloudiness is ° F., which means that the sky is covered with clouds a trifle more than half of the time. In the next three groups the cloudiness jumps back and forth, as is seen in the middle —10° —5° —° or to to more —° —° —° —° to to —° +0. Clouds.
