After heavy overnight rain a cormorant dries out it's wings whilst perched on a yellow buoy on the Jubliee River in Eton Wick, Windsor, Berkshire today. Cormorants are fish eaters and known as excellent divers. Phalacrocoracidae is a family of approximately 40 species of aquatic birds commonly known as cormorants and shags.
