The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command held a change of command ceremony June 16, 2016 at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. During the event, Army Maj. Gen. Susan A. Davidson relinquished command to Army Maj. Gen. Kurt J. Ryan. Ryan had previously served as the Chief of Ordnance and Ordnance School Commandant at Fort Lee, Virginia. Davidson relinquished command to Army Maj. Gen. Kurt J. Ryan. Ryan had previously served as the Chief of Ordnance and Ordnance School Commandant at Fort Lee, Virginia.
