Candle light vigil and peace protest, in honour of Japanese youth kidnapped and killed in Iraq.
Supporters of the Peace Boat NGO held a candle lit vigil outside Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi s residence tonight for Shosei Koda the Japanese youth kidnapped and held hostage, and later beheaded and murdered, by Islamic militants in Baghdad, Iraq. The demonstrators called on Japanese Prime Minister Juichiro Koizumi to withdraw the Japan Self Defense Force troops from Iraq, when their current tour of duty finishes on December 14th 2004.
