Army Sgt. Mykal Wiley, an augmentee assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), digs during a recovery mission in Lao People's Democratic Republic, Aug. 3, 2021. DPAA personnel arrived to conduct excavation operations in an effort to find a reconnaissance pilot lost over Northern Laos during the Vietnam War. DPAA’s Mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting for missing and unaccounted-for US personnel to their families and our nation.
