Whenthese eggs are taken into another animals system,either in the food or the water, they hatch into aminute, migratory, larval form, that bores its waythrough the tissues until it reaches some suitable place,often in the muscle, where it becomes encysted. Thesecysts are small, rounded, yellowish masses, containing the worm-like structurethat is often visible tothe naked eye.
