This company used the CrosbyPatent, but it proved to be a failure, and in January, 1814, it was decided toabandon that system of construction and revert to the old plan, to conformwith which it was found necessary to alter No. 39. The company was firstlocated in Partition Street (Fulton), corner of Church, next in Vesey, nearChurch Street, in 1834 at the old Bridewell Park, and in 1840 in Dover company was reorganized at St. Pauls Churchyard in Vesey Street, on.
