Walker, assigned to Pacific Command, was selected as one of the Navy’s nominees for performing outstanding community service in Hawaii. Chin issued a proclamation designating May as Hawaii Military Appreciation Month to honor Hawaii-area service members for their efforts in making their community a better place.
