The Queen Anne stone with plaque stating Queen Anne rested here (1710) on Queen Anne's bank in Woolmer Forest, Hampshire, England, UK
In 1710, Queen Anne of the Stuarts stopped to review her herds of red deer at Queen's bank in Woolmer Forest on her way from Southampton to London. This stone marks the spot where she rested. The red deer were removed to Windsor around 1750 following decimation of the herd by a poaching gang.
