Edinburgh, Scotland. Wed 29 May 2024. Folk band Burd Ellen onstage at Summerhall as part of a short UK tour. Burd Ellen is a project featuring Debbie Armour (Alasdair Roberts, Green Ribbons) and Gayle Brogan (Pefkin, Electroscope) who uses traditional song to explore and evoke dark landscapes and deep stories. They have released three albums to critical acclaim: Silver Came (2019), ‘Says The Never Beyond’ (2020) and ‘A Tarot Of The Green Wood’ (2022).
