The Japanese Thrush (Turdus cardis) is a species in the Turdidae family. It is found in China, Japan, Korea, Laos, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is temperate forests. In Thailand it is an occasional winter visitor and the male is more frequently seen than the female.
