This apparatus which lias been pronounced by many scientific gentlemen the best pharnia•eeutical still ever introduced, is made in the most accurate manner, of tinned copper with brassfittings. It consists of a boiler A, with an opening four inches in diameter at the top. A tubularcolumn B, one foot high, soldered to a plate whicti is screwed into a fitting in the opening of theboiler A, and has a removable screw cap upon its upper end. A connecting pipe C ; a condenserD, with an inlet for water at E, and an outflow for the same at F. Also a spout G for the outflow ofthe distillate. The diaphragms 1, 2 and 3.
