Team Robbo defaces Banksy graffiti on Regent's Canal Camden Town during the graffiti war December 2009 to April 2010

In December 2009 the underground graffiti artist Banksy over-painted a piece of graffi by underground graffiti artist Robbo (John Robertson, 1964-2014) while completing four pieces of graffiti on the banks of the Regent's Canal as it passes through Camden Town, close to the famous Camden Lock Market. Taking offense supporters of King Robbo collectively known as Team Robbo defaced all four of Banksy's pieces with their own messages deprecating Banksy and supporting King Robbo. This piece was originally as statement on the failure of the international conference on climate change in Copenhagen in 2009 to agree on measures to combat global warming. In the defacement the words 'I don't believe in global warming' have been changed to 'I don't believe in war' with the statement by Team Robbo claiming it is too late for that.
