Storey Arms, Powys A470, Wales, UK. 18th March 2018. The 'mini beast from the East' has brought snow and high winds to Wales overnight and into today. A truck makes it up and over the pass at Storey Arms in the Brecon Beacons. All the other mountain routes in South Wales are impassable and snow ploughs have been keeping this one open as snow is drifting in gale force conditions can only be described as a blizzard, temperature is minus 4 C and with windchill it feels like minus 20.
