Glasgow, UK, 9th January 2019 - Kelvingrove Park in Glasgow is one of the locations where residents can dispose off their real Christmas trees until 18th January. It is anticipated that 68000 real Christmas trees will be thrown away across Glasgow generating circa 1400 tonnes of waste. Trees taken to the park will be chipped and shredded for use within the park, reducing the landfill waste. Credit: Pawel Pietraszewski / Alamy Live News
