Large stone with inscription of the internment camp names sits on the site of the Japanese American Historical Plaza at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in Portland Oregon. The stone is one element of the award-winning plaza, designed by landscape architect Robert Murase, that commemorates the history of the Japanese and their descendants, and tells the story of their unlawful incarceration and internment during World War II.
