FORT PICKETT, Va. – Army Spc. Divante Scott, an infantryman with Alpha Co., 1st Battalion, 114th Infantry Regiment, shows his excitement during an air assault raid training mission here May 27, 2017. After rehearsing the assault all day, the 1-114th finally got airborne around 7 on route to the target. Scott and other members of the New Jersey National Guard are participating in eXportable Combat Training Capability exercises that test readiness at all levels, from the unit down to the individual soldier.
