Eric Smith, a military working dog handler, and Viola, a patrol explosive detector dog with the 550th Military Working Dog Detachment, 42nd Military Police Detachment, 503rd Military Police Battalion, relax together after a combination explosive detection and controlled aggression training exercise on Nov. 8, 2016 at Macomb Warehouse, Fort Bragg, Training together allows the handlers to work on their ability to control their dogs while also trying to build a relationship between the two service members.
