SASEBO, Japan (Jan. 5, 2017) Aviation Support Equipment Technician 3rd Class Anthony Visconti removes equipment from the hangar bay prior to an upcoming ceremony aboard amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). The ship will host the Commander, Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) 11 change of command next week. Bonhomme Richard, forward-deployed to Sasebo, Japan, is serving forward to provide a rapid-response capability in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
