By this deed all the territory lyingwestward of a meridian line to be drawn from the lati-tude of forty-five degrees north, through the mostwesterly bend of Lake Ontario, or a meridian line drawnthrough a point twenty miles due west from the mostwesterly bend of the Niagara river (whichever lineshould be found to be most to the west), was ceded tothe United MAP OF MORRISS PURCHASE, OR WEST GENESEO, NEW YORK Exhibiting parts of lakes Erie and Ontario, the Straits of Niagara.
