Houdini memorial, Diggers Rest, near Melbourne, Australia
Harry Houdini was the first person to fly a plane in Australia. It was in a French Voisin bi-plane and he did it at Diggers Rest, near Melbourne on March 18th 1910. This memorial is in the town of Diggers Rest itself. There is also a plaque is at the site where he flew, a few miles out of the town - see my other images.
