24/04/16 Dare-devil riders from the The Ken Fox Troupe charge around the Wall of Death on their vintage motorcycles at The Carole Nash International Classic MotorCycle Show at Stafford County Show Ground. Known as ‘Hell Riders’ the bikers, who don’t wear crash helmets or any other safety equipment, need to ride fast enough to maintain a dizzying three Gs of force to keep them from falling to their doom. This show first appeared in the United Kingdom in 1929 and by 1950 there were many Walls of Death in the country. Today there are only two left in Britain. The Wall itself is 20ft high and 32ft in diameter. All Rights Reserved: F Stop Press Ltd. +44(0)1335 418365
